OUR NATIONALITY
I was given a gift from God and that gift was my Southern birth. I'll not deny it, reject it nor be ashamed of it and I thank God for it every day.
Being raised north of the Mason-Dixon line has given me an appreciation of Dixie that most Southerners take for granted and maybe that is why I'm so fanatical in defending the land of my birth. I for one do not want nor will I sit by and watch Dixie die.
My culture is from Dixie and I cherish it above all else. No where on earth is there a culture such as ours, so rich, so vibrant, so utterly beautiful. If the South was not so great and desireable why then did the United States feel that it could not survive without us? And why then does everyone in the universe want to move here? Why are certain people so jealous of it that they want to see it destroyed?
We must think about how much we will lose if we allow the South to die and my dear Southern brothers and sisters she is dying.....you know it and I know it. BUT there is a ray of hope for us yet and it lies in the Southern Party and in our state of North Carolina.....the SPNC.
The main reason why I joined the Southern Party of North Carolina is because it is the only political party that is standing up for and defending our Southern culture and Southern people. I feel honored to have been appointed the chairman of the SPNC and I'll do my best to work for and with the citizens of this state where my family has resided for 254 years. I am proud to be a citizen of the South and of North Carolina.
" Remember this....when someone ask you what your nationality is, just tell them plain and simple, with your head held high...I'm Southern". Glen Oscar Bridges
